Collecting
From choosing a work, to setting its price together, to welcoming it home — we take our time and talk it through.
What does “setting the price together” mean?
Each work shows the price range the artist has in mind. Visitors can anonymously share what the work is worth to them, and those who wish to collect it can make an offer at the amount they choose. The artist reads every offer and accepts, counters, or replies with care.
How is “what it’s worth to me” different from an offer?
Sharing an amount is an anonymous opinion and never leads to a purchase. An offer includes your contact details and tells the artist you would like to collect the work. Neither charges you.
May I offer less than the artist’s range?
Yes. It helps to share why, so the artist can understand and respond. Each work carries the cost of materials, time and framing — we ask that both sides approach the conversation with respect.
How do payment and shipping work?
Once the artist accepts your offer, payment details are sent to you on your offer page and by the contact you provided. After payment, the work is carefully packed and shipped with a handwritten note. We ship internationally; costs are confirmed before payment. (Online checkout is coming soon.)
Can I commission a work with my own words?
Yes. The artist creates works with a sentence, a name or a date you’d like to give. Send your words through “Made Together”, or write them in your note when making an offer.
